Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

MyVendue is a business-to-business (B2B) competitive marketplace bringing Buyers and Sellers of professional services together in one centralized platform.  Buyers post jobs for professional services that their organization needs performed e.g. lawn care or snow removal and Sellers submit bids to perform that work.  Utilizing MyVendue, Buyers of professional services ensure that they are always receiving the best price and most bang-for-their buck.  MyVendue gives Sellers of professional services an opportunity to expand and grow their business, make more money and get-a-foot-in-the-door of business opportunities they didn't previously have a chance to bid on.

There is no cost, it is completely free, to become a registered user (create a username/password), view auctions and post a job.

Using MyVendue is a simple and concise three-step process.  Let's say your organization has a need for a professional service, e.g. lawn care or snow removal:

It is as simple as that.  Sellers will then submit bids for your business.

There are many jobs, which can be posted on MyVendue, including common ones are lawn care and snow removal.

When you post your job, be as detailed and specific as possible.  Provide dimensions, list any insurance requirements, pitfalls or difficulties that Sellers who are bidding on the job should be aware of, etc.  The more detailed and specific you are in the job post, conveys to the Seller the exact specifications of the work that your organization needs performed.

When an auction has been completed and the professional service(s) have been performed by the Seller, the Buyer is notified, the Buyer's banking account will be charged via our secure, third-party Stripe payment system and the Buyer's payment is released to the bank account of your choice (debit account, PayPal).  There is a five (5) day security period between the completion of the project and the time when the funds are available for you to transfer to your account, which is to safeguard against the rare situation where a buyer disputes payment.

When an auction is completed, there is a modest percentage fee that is added on top of the final sale price.  Terms and conditions are listed in the Terms of Service Agreement.

Not commonly.  Most transactions do not require that sales tax be withheld.  MyVendue complies with all federal, state and local statutes.  Please consult a tax expert if your organization has any sales tax questions.
